It is extremely important to follow a few health and safety rules before using the GreenIT Box, please read the rules below:
- Put box in a convenient place away from fire exits and free from walk ways
- Ensure that the box is located where it can be easily transported using a pump truck to a ground location for collection
- Ensure that only IT related waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is placed in the box
- Take care with products that contain glass
- Put lid on box once complete
- Do remember that the box once full will be heavy and will be transported via a pump truck
